What I Create

Timeless Crumb is a home for the classics the cakes, breads, and bakes that never go out of style. The proper layer cake. The pound cake with the perfect crumb. The banana bread that disappears before it’s even cool. The apple pie that turns up at every holiday. The recipes your grandmother made, written down properly so they don’t get lost.

I’m not chasing trends here. I’m chasing the bakes that have earned their place the ones that taste like comfort, that work every single time, and that you’ll keep coming back to for years. I test them until they’re foolproof (usually with two very honest little taste-testers looking over my shoulder), because a classic should be reliable.

My Mission

My goal is simple: keep the timeless recipes alive, and make them easy enough for any kitchen busy, chaotic, single-parent kitchens very much included.

You don’t need fancy equipment or hours of free time. You need a good recipe you can trust, a little butter, and maybe a kid or two willing to lick the bowl. I want my bakes to make your home feel warm, no matter how full your hands are.

Thank you for being here. If you love the classic bakes that never go out of style the ones made with a little love and a lot of butter pull up a chair. You’re in exactly the right place.

About Timeless Crumb

Hi, I’m Hanna

I’m Hanna Watte — baker, recipe-keeper, and the (perpetually flour-dusted) mom of two behind Timeless Crumb. I’m 37, I’m raising my two kids on my own, and most evenings you’ll find me in the kitchen with a mixing bowl in one hand and a wooden spoon being “borrowed” by little hands.

My Journey

Some of my earliest and warmest memories happen in a kitchen — the smell of a cake cooling on the counter, the worn recipe cards in my grandmother’s handwriting, the bakes that showed up at every birthday, every holiday, and every ordinary Sunday. Those recipes were never fancy. They were just good, and they were ours.

Life looks a little different now. I’m a single mom of two, juggling more than I can usually fit in a day, and somewhere along the way baking became the thing that grounds me — a way to slow down, to make our little house smell like home, and to hand my kids the same memories I grew up with. Between the school runs and the bedtime stories, I started writing those recipes down, testing them, getting them just right… and Timeless Crumb was born.
